According to The MLA Handbook for Writers of Research Papers, seventh edition, the following is an example of how to construct an MLA citation for a book.:
AuthorFirstName, AuthorLastName. Title of the book. CityWherePublished: Publisher, YearPublished. MediumOfPublication.

Doe, John. The Best Book Ever. Dover: Best Publishing House, 2015. Print.
Paying attention to the details is critical. Note that Every Single Word in the above example is capitalized. The name of the book is in italics. While italics is preferred for it, underlining the title instead may be an option if italicized font is too difficult to read or is too hard to distinguish from non-italicized font.
