This guide will provide you information about our Rosetta Stone Language Lab.

Rosetta Stone Acceptable Use Policy

Effective Date:  June 7, 2010

  1. You must have a valid DSU identification card to use the Rosetta Stone Language programs.
  2. Family or friends without a valid DSU ID card will not be allowed to use the Rosetta Stone program.
  3. Library Patron must sign out the Logitech headsets from Circulation.
  4. To use the language program, please follow the instructions posted inside the learning workstation.
  5. You can only use the Rosetta Stone Language program for 2 hours at a time.  If you need an extension, see circulation.
  6. The language workstations are to be used for Language Programs only.
  7. Please no horse playing and/or talking on a cell phone when other students are trying to concentrate.
  8. Food and drink are prohibited in this lab!!
  9. Please do not have your family or friends with you in the lab while using the Rosetta Stone language program.
  10. Failure to follow the above rules can result in the following actions:
    • 1st offense:  You will be asked to leave and will not be able to use the lab for 2 weeks from the date of the infraction.
    • 2nd offense: You will be asked to leave and will not be able to use the language lab for 1 month from the date of the infraction.
    • 3rd offense:  You will be asked to leave and will not be able to use the language lab until you get permission from the Library Dean.
  11. When done, please return the Logitech headsets to circulation.  Failure to do so may result in a library fine.
